Having a portal which allows you to sign your documents as when required is so refreshing rather than panicking to go the post office after work, the portal allows you to track exactly were the conveyancing is up to allowing you to see whats needed. Never thought we'd be changing our original 5-star review, but sadly here we are. As first-time buyers, buying our first home was stressful enough. What disappointed us most was that we felt we had to do all the chasing ourselves. There were times when it felt like our solicitor wasn't pushing for answers or supporting us when issues arose. At times, it genuinely felt like our solicitor was on the sellers' side rather than ours. Things became even worse after completion. Emails went unanswered, promised callbacks never happened, and we spent weeks chasing for updates. In the end, we had to submit a formal complaint just to get someone's attention. Although the complaint was acknowledged, we're still waiting for anyone to provide any meaningful answers. We understand that not every issue is within the firm's control but if something can't be done/solved, or you don’t know, just please simply tell us. Being kept informed would have been far better than weeks of silence, wondering whether our emails have even been read Following our review on another platform, the firm stated publicly that some of the issues related to the seller rather than matters within their control. We understand that not everything was caused by the firm. However, our disappointment has never just been about the sellers, it's about the lack of communication and support when we repeatedly asked for help. Every firm will have positive and negative reviews, and perhaps we were just unlucky. We can only share our own experience, and unfortunately our post-completion experience has left us feeling exhausted and frustrated. We genuinely hope other buyers/clients have a better experience than we did.
